This Privacy Policy describes how Mochi ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit mochi.prizmox.com ("the Site") or join our waitlist. Mochi is in pre-launch development; this policy will evolve as the product ships.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Email address — when you join the waitlist, we collect your email so we can notify you about launch and product updates.
• Optional context — UTM parameters and referral source captured at the time of signup, used to understand which channels drive interest.

Information collected automatically

• Usage analytics — pages viewed, time on page, referrer URL, and basic device information (browser, OS, screen size, country derived from IP).
• Cookies and similar technologies — see "Cookies & Tracking" below.

2. How We Use Information

• To respond to waitlist signups and email you about Mochi's launch.
• To understand how visitors use the Site and improve our product and marketing.
• To measure the performance of our advertising campaigns.
• To prevent fraud and protect the security of the Site.

We do not sell personal information.

3. Cookies & Tracking

The Site uses the following third-party tools, set after you accept the cookie banner (or, in jurisdictions that permit, on first load):

• Google Tag Manager (Google LLC) — manages the loading of analytics and pixel tags.

You can decline these tools via the cookie banner on your first visit, or by disabling cookies in your browser. Declining will disable analytics and advertising cookies but keep essential site functionality intact.

4. Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and waitlist (email infrastructure, hosting, analytics) under contractual confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data Retention

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you ask us to remove them or until 24 months after Mochi's commercial launch, whichever is earlier. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention period (default: 14 months). You may request earlier deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (EU/EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with comparable laws), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your information ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a portable copy of your data.
• Withdraw consent at any time.

7. Children

The Site and the waitlist are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. International Transfers

If you are visiting from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

9. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Site.
